Zusammenfassung:In this study, the optical features of human urine and factors that affect the components of urine were analysed by scattering method. Through the refractive index that presents changes, depending on the molecular density in the components of urine, it was investigated how pregnancy can be determined. The model was prepared according to the cylindrical coordinates, and Maxwell’s classical electromagnetic theory was used for the numerical calculation in case of transverse electric and transverse magnetic polarization modes. Depending on the changes of human metabolism, arisen during the period of pregnancy, standard results were obtained from urine samples. This study shows that it is possible to obtain data regarding the state of pregnancy by using the optical parameters of urine samples with optical methods within a medical discipline. Thus, with the contribution of the standard data obtained as a result of the light scattering calculations from the urine samples taken from the people at various stages of pregnancy, it will be easier to diagnose the stage of pregnancy later.
