Zusammenfassung:Adhesion strength and its stability of metals strongly depend on a surface condition of adherent, like oxide layer thickness, its chemical state, and adsorbate, which often cause failure of adhesion. Therefore, analytical technologies for metal surface and adhesion interface play an important role to control adhesive joining strength and its stability. This article reviews a series of study of metal surface condition, its adhesion performance, and analytical results of its surface and adhesion interface.
