Zusammenfassung:The results of studying the complexation of a number of metal ions on the surface of silica chemically modified by various functional analytical groups are systematized in the review. Examples of the influence of the matrix of sorbents (silica) on the thermodynamic and kinetic parameters of surface complexation reactions with metals are presented. Specific features of using finely dispersed silicas with complexing functional groups in high performance complexation metal ion chromatography are considered.
