Zusammenfassung:Steel-pouring quartz refractories with a ceramic concrete structure, produced by OAO Dinur, are characterized by low porosity, high heat resistance, and durability in service. In the process of comparative factory tests at NTMK and NLMK with similar corundum-graphite products from Vesuvius, quartz nozzles and tubes are no less resistant than imported refractories. A pilot batch of high-alumina nozzles (HCBS mullite + filler based on corundum and SiC) is prepared using centrifugal technology and passes industrial tests. Applied to the technology of ceramic concrete mixes and products in the systems Al 2 O 3 –SiO 2 –SiC and Al 2 O 3 –SiO 2 –SiC–C fused quartz suspensions are an effective component introduced into the milling charge during wet grinding of high-alumina composition HCBS. Technology for preparing HCBS and various types of siliceous composition ceramic concretes based on fused quartz, quartzite and quartz sand, and dinas refractory scrap are developed. Ceramic concretes based on fused quartz, with an initial porosity of 10 – 12% are prepared by vibration casting in metal molds.
