Zusammenfassung: | Blockage of arteries by the formation of plaques causing stenosis is a major health problem among human beings.In this study, a model is developed for the flow through a multi-stenosed elastic artery segment under the effect of body acceleration and slip velocity. Fluid is regarded as Non-Newtonian Bingham Plastic Fluid. The equations representing the model are solved analytically using Perturbation Method. Result is discussed for velocity, wall shear stress and volumetric flow rate by varying several parameters like pulse frequency, slip parameter and Womersley Frequency parameter graphically. |
