Zusammenfassung: | Given the objectives of the Guard's strategy and the learning from the activities of the twenty years of implementation of the women, peace and security agenda that emphasize the challenges that persist after its adoption, the question that guided this study arose: what factors influence the implementation of the women, peace, and security agenda in the European Union? The study was developed through the analysis of the structuring concepts that allowed the analytical model to be created as a response to the identified gap. The research has highlighted the importance of the implementation phase of the agenda, at the institutional level, promoting change crucial towards: making equality explicit in internal documents, and in the objectives for the top executive; establishing rules on respecting the dignity of women and men in the workplace; including the gender perspective in the budget and allocating funds; establishing the principle of non-discrimination and the promotion of equality in training plans, promoting training; disseminating the rights and duties of employees on equality and non-discrimination; fostering sectoral policies that reinforce equality; emphasizing equality in strategic planning and having a plan to implement the agenda.
