Zusammenfassung:Uis article studies the historical reconfiguration of identities in the Santiago Chaco from the beginning of the 20th century until the emergence of social organizations with a strong identity policy, as is the case of the Campesino Movement of Santiago del Estero-Vía Campesina. On the one hand, it is analyzed how a process of differentiation developed between those who perceive themselves as criollos and two other social segments that the criollos perceive as gringos and turcos. Ue text shows how these identity reconfigurations are related to transformation processes in the ways in which ties are built and power relations are established in the local world. Esta articulación en los circuitos de producción y circulación del capital extractivo supuso un cambio radical de la configuración social local en aspectos económicos, sociales, culturales y ambientales.
