Zusammenfassung: | Abstract
This article analyses the changes that have been made to the registration of trusts with the HMRC’s Trust Registration Service. Following an outline of the new registration requirements, the article thereafter goes on to argue that the changes may greatly affect the number of people willing to become trustees. Furthermore, the inevitable privacy concerns for trustees are considered, as under the new system third parties will be able to apply to see the information contained on the register. |
