Analysis of Urotomy and Regeneration in Agamid Lizards of the Genus Mantheyus (Reptilia: Sauria: Agamidae: Draconinae) Using X-ray Methods and a Computed Microtomography

The results of an analysis of manifestations and combinations of urotomy and regeneration in the caudal part of the vertebral column in agamid lizards of the subfamily Draconinae Fitzinger, 1826 are considered based on the material stored in museums around the world. The methods of X-ray analysis and computed microtomography (CT) were used based on our own data and the data on skeletal morphology from the electronic resource MorphoSource. The manifestations of urotomy and regeneration of agamid lizards in phylogenetic and ecological contexts are discussed.
