An algorithm for automated transformation of the information from relational databases to JSON and XML

The paper describes an own development of a universal solution for automated transformation from relational databases into semi-structured data (JSON or XML). The aim is to create a tool, that will be able to transform the data, retrieved from relational database with arbitrary SQL query into semi-structured data (JSON or XML). This tool must be able not only to “pack” data into the required output format but, it must be able to recognize the hidden “hierarchical nature” of the “flat” relational data and automatically transform this kind of data into JSON or XML format, preserving existing relationships between them. This transformation must be done without (or with very little) intervention from the user.
