Zusammenfassung: | The function of trichome in plants, the first barrier against biotic stress and changing environments, is irreplaceable in physical protection and chemical defense. The regulation processing developments of trichome in plants can be divided into two categories: the single-celled trichome exampled by
Arabidopsis
and multicellular trichome exampled by tomato. This paper focuses on the types, morphogenesis, and molecular mechanism of cell development of the two categories. Meanwhile, it summarizes the effects to the mechanisms of cell cycle, hormone and TOR cascade signaling in plant trichome development, and eventually it reaches a conclusion that TOR signaling in plants is potential core of the conserved regulation of trichome development. |
