TR-FTIR (time-resolved Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy), UPLC-MS (ultra-performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry), and GC–MS (gas chromatography–mass spectrometer) analyses were applied to investigate the pathway and mechanism of MG degradation. The results show that both electrochemical oxidization polymerization and electrochemical reduction precipitation process were efficient to remove MG. |
