Knowledge Attitude Practice: ADR Monitoring; Health-care Professionals INTRODUCTION Adverse drug reaction (ADR) is a global health problem that affects people of all ages leading to significant morbidity and mortality as well as adds to healthcare costs. [3] Furthermore, a Swedish study estimated that 3.1% of deaths within the general population were attributed to ADRs.(tm) Pharmacovigilance is the science and activities relating to the detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problems. MATERIALS AND METHODS A cross-sectional questionnaire-based study was conducted among the health-care professionals (HCPs) which included doctors, nurses, and pharmacists after approval from the Institutional Human Ethics Committee (No: ESICMC/GLB/ IEC/06/2021) at ESIC Medical College and Hospital (ESIC MC and Hospital), Kalaburagi, Karnataka.
