Zusammenfassung:To properly respond to ever-growing threats to information security, there is a pressing need for more effective encryption techniques. This paper offers an innovative block-based encryption technique that combines effective random manipulations of a block’s symbols with tricky substitution techniques. Furthermore, the proposed technique offers a block diffusion method in which minor variations to the block’s symbols will magnify and then propagate to the entire block, largely affecting every individual symbol in the block. Experiments with the prototype implementation showed that the output of the proposed encryption technique passed effective randomness tests (NIST and ENT batteries) with a success rate greater than 94%. The simulations of the block diffusion technique showed that it has a high avalanche effect, which greatly boosts the security of the resulting ciphertext.
