Zusammenfassung:We report on the phenomenon of detonation synchronization and demonstrate the existence of the Arnold tongues and devil's staircases in the problem of gaseous detonation in a periodically inhomogeneous reactive medium. Universal properties of these dynamical structures – the Farey tree, fractal dimension and period-doubling bifurcations – are revealed.
