Zusammenfassung:In order to solve the problem that traditional stud shear connectors are no longer suitable for assembled steel–concrete beams, a new type of shear connector is proposed, which improves the performance of shear pocket connector. The features of the new type shear connector are the epoxy mortar in reserved holes in concrete plate and epoxy mortar layer between the precast concrete plate and steel beam. And experimental work on the push-out tests was done, mainly to evaluate the structural behavior for different reserved hole diameters. Based on the failure mode and load–slip curve obtained from the push-out test, the force transmission mechanism of the new shear connector was discussed. In addition, the shear strength and the shear stiffness of the new connector were estimated. As the existence of the epoxy mortar layer, the failure mode of the stud shear connector has changed, and its shear strength and shear stiffness are also greater than those of shear pocket connector. Meanwhile, the shear strength and shear stiffness increase with diameter of the reserved holes. Finally, referring to widely used standards and the previous formula for the shear pocket connector, a formula for calculating the shear strength of the new type shear connector is proposed.
