Zusammenfassung:The Duanu tribe community still adheres to ancestral values and preserves nature, the value of local wisdom of the Duanu tribe maintains and prevents coastal areas from being damaged, this study aims to identify the socio-cultural dimensions of Duanu local wisdom in an effort to survive. There are two reasons why this field is sociologically interesting. Firstly, it is the oldest village. Second, the opportunity for economic intensification and the increase in Duanu's socio-cultural complexity. With a qualitative research approach and through a case study method, the results of the study revealed that the Duanu tribe has two types of local wisdom in the form of traditional ecological knowledge, namely Menongkah, Pembelat, Menumbur, wind direction, season, presence of animals, and shell holes, shrimp or snakes.
