Zusammenfassung: | Results are provided for an experimental study of the effect of various production lubricants on deformation and force parameters during cold rolling of strips made of aluminum alloys AD33 and AMts with initial dimensions of 3 × 25 × 190 mm and 1.9 × 24 × 148 mm. Different contact friction conditions between strip and rolls are investigated: without lubrication (
μ
= 0.092), with lubricants: sunflower oil 5% (
μ
= 0.06), SP3 6% (
μ
= 0.071), palm oil (
μ
= 0.061), SAFECUT M170NT (
μ
= 0.071), and I40 5% (
μ
= 0.068) in a laboratory two-roll mill 150 × 235 in the Pressure and Additive Technology Materials Processing Department. It is shown that roll lubrication with industrial oil I40 (5%) reduces the rolling force by 12.32% and increases strip thickness uniformity along the length. The difference between deformation and force indices in the central and end sections when rolling aluminum strips with lubricants is less than when rolling strips in dry rolls. Application of the results of experimental rolling makes it possible to recommend use of lubrication by industrial oil I40 and to designate rational regimes for rolling strips, sheets, and tapes made of aluminum alloys in industrial mills and primarily in the 175 × 300 mill of the Dong Nai plant (Vietnam). |
