A New Lignan from Gymnotheca involucrata

A new lignan, named gymnotheinvolin ( 1 ), and three known compounds ( 2–4 ) were isolated from the Chinese medicinal plant Gymnotheca involucrata . The structure of the new compound was established on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR experiments.
