Zusammenfassung:This paper describes the thermal environment in “A House in Sapporo (1968)”, by architect Tetsu Katono. In winter, air temperature versus MRT of the living room were 19℃ versus 21℃ (outdoor: -0.9℃). Based on the value of warm radiant exergy from the wall, cognitive temperature was estimated 20℃, and it was presumed that the room felt “warm”. In summer, air temperature versus MRT of the living room were 26℃ versus 28℃ (outdoor: 30℃). Cold radiant exergy to bring coolness was emitted from the wall surfaces and cognitive temperature was estimated 25℃.
