Thermal Conductivity of Water–Petroleum Emulsions at a Pressure of Up to 20 MPa

The article presents the results of measurement of the thermal conductivity of water–petroleum emulsions of direct and reverse types at a pressure of up to 20 MPa in the temperature range 293–353 K during the change of up to 50 vol.% in the volume content of the dispersed phase in the emulsion. The...

Zusammenfassung:The article presents the results of measurement of the thermal conductivity of water–petroleum emulsions of direct and reverse types at a pressure of up to 20 MPa in the temperature range 293–353 K during the change of up to 50 vol.% in the volume content of the dispersed phase in the emulsion. The previously obtained correlation is suitable for determining the thermal conductivity of water–petroleum emulsions of direct and reverse types in a wide range of changes in the content of dispersed phase and of temperature and pressure parameters.
