Synthesis of Ethyl Ethers 13,14-Dehydro-16-aryloxy-11-deoxyprostaglandin E1
Conjugated 1,4-addition of cuprate reagents, prepared from trimethylsilyl ethers of 3-hydroxy-4-aryloxybut-1-ynes, to 2-[6-(ethoxycarbonyl)hexyl]cyclopent-2-en-1-one resulted in the preparation of 13,14-dehydro-16-aryloxy-11-deoxyprostaglandins E 1 as mixtures of the 8,12- cis/trans isomers.
