Zusammenfassung: | IntroductionThe 2016 NICE chest pain guidelines (CG95) recommend CT coronary angiography (CTCA) as the first line investigation for new stable chest pain, and removed the pre-test probability (PTP) risk score (RS). In contrast, the ESC 2019 guidelines recommend an updated PTPRS based on age, sex, and typicality of chest pain. CTCA is the preferred investigation with an intermediate PTPRS of 15–50%, and functional tests with PTPRS 51–85%. No investigation is recommended for patients with PTPRS |
