Zusammenfassung:Brain abscess is a focal area of necrosis, which may occur after neurosurgical procedures. Transcranial color‐coded duplex sonography (TCCS) is a valuable tool of monitoring in the intensive care unit (ICU), providing information in B‐mode, color and pulsed wave Doppler mode. We describe the case of a critically ill patient with brain abscess diagnosed by TCCS.
