Investigation of prevalence of back pain and its risk factors (case study: female students of Babol University of Medical Sciences)

Keywords: Back pain, medical sciences, severity of disability, risk factor Introduction Back pain is the most prevalent cause of severe and long term physical disability, and it is considered as a major problem for individuals and the society (1). According to the estimations, 16-20% of the cases of compensation and 34-40% of the compensation costs are related to back pain. According to the review of literature, previous studies have reported different rates of prevalence for back pain and its risk factors.
