Zusammenfassung:(1991) also reported a 9% incidence of epileptiform EEG abnormalities in dysphasic children without a history of seizures.1[4]Our study aimed at looking at the EEG abnormalities in preschool children with language disorders. Recording was done during the early stages of sleep and Trichlorfos (SypPedichloryl) 50-75 mg/kg body weight was used for sedation. Percentage of the EEG abnormalities in the current sample and frequency distribution of the age, sex, and family history was tabulated. There were no statistically significant findings in correlation of consanguinity, family history of language delay, receptive and expressive language disorders in relation to presence or absence of abnormal EEG discharges.
