Web services a novel approach for solving interoperability issues in internet of things

Internet of Things (IoT) is a buzzword now days. IoT allows many devices to be connected with each other, and they can exchange messages among them. IoT devices have low level computing resources like RAM and ROM. These devices may use different communication protocols at different levels. The devices which have low level computing devices requires a special kind of communication protocols. Various manufacturers developing the IoT devices with their proprietary communication protocols.When devices working on their proprietary specific protocols that leads interoperability problems. Interoperability at application layer is a challenging issue, due to this the computing devices unable to communicate successfully. With this paper I am going to provide a possible solution with the help extensible markup language (XML) web services. XML based applications help us to store and transfer data irrespective of platform and language being used to develop the applications.
