Zusammenfassung:A monolith based on foamed graphite is used for the sorption of hydrocarbons (alkanes, cycloalkanes, arenes) as markers of oil pollution. This material is patented by chemical engineers from the Department of Chemistry of the Moscow State University. It is shown that absorbed compounds can be determined qualitatively and quantitatively by GC/GC/MS with a thermal desorption system.
