Using numerical simulation techniques to ensure required quality of furnace processes

Some results are presented from the use of advanced means for numerically simulating the physicochemical and aerodynamic processes occurring in boiler furnaces and burner devices. Examples of case problems ordered by OAO Mosenergo are given to illustrate the considerable possibilities offered by these facilities for improving the environmental and operational indicators of steam and hot-water boilers.
