Zusammenfassung:Time-triggered intermittent control (TIC) is presented to investigate the exponential synchronization issue of chaotic Lur’e systems. The difference between intermittent control (IC) and TIC is that, on control time intervals, the former is updated in a continuous manner while the latter is updated at every sampling instant. In this work, the mathematical description of TIC is initially put forward with a time-triggered mechanism. Then, a mixed Lyapunov functional is constructed to obtain an exponential synchronization criterion. Meanwhile, two performance indexes are given. Finally, the validity of the theoretical result and the superiority of TIC over IC and sampled-data control (SC) are shown in a simulation example. •Time-triggered intermittent control (TIC) is presented for chaotic Lur’e systems.•The mixed Lyapunov functional is constructed to obtain a synchronization criterion.•TIC could reduce the amount of transmitted data or/and save the cost.
