Zusammenfassung:This study analyzes the use of a Raspberry Pi (RPi) as part of a Penetration Tester’s toolkit. The RPi’s form factor, performance to cost ratio, used in conjunction with modified Linux, allows the RPi to be a very versatile product. Whatsmore, the RPi retails for $35 and is available from many hobby shops and on Amazon.com. Included in this research is the use of a virtual lab where the RPi is attached using an Ethernet connection. Simple attacks are carried out with a few suggestions for preventing this scenario from playing out in the real world.
