Zusammenfassung: | It is widely known that water resources are decreasing around the world. Rapid urbanization, population growth, industries and the expansion of agriculture are increasing demand for freshwater. In most countries, including Algeria, irrigation is the largest consumer of water, with about 70% of all freshwater withdrawals being used for irrigation. Therefore, it can be said that solving the problem of water scarcity is based on the adjustment of irrigation. The aim of this paper is to shed light on the irrigation systems, how they can be applied, and what are their benefits. With the adoption of solar energy to feed the system; this energy source is strongly available in arid zones. |
