Zusammenfassung:The tribological properties of Mo–Se–C solid lubricant coatings applied by different methods at atmospheric pressure and in vacuum are investigated. The linear wear rate of DC324 lubricant coatings applied by a dc magnetronic method practically matches that of MoSe 2 -based VNII NP 212 coatings applied from suspension. For coatings applied by thermochemical treatment of a molybdenum base by selenium, the linear wear rate is an order of magnitude greater. The frictional coefficients of the DC324 coating and the coating obtained by thermochemical treatment are lower by a factor of 2–3 than that of the VNII 212 coating when the surface temperature is 36.5–59.2°C.
