Zusammenfassung: | To convey knowledge efficiently and to establish abetter teaching-learning environment in the classrooms, there is a clear need to evaluate students throughout the course using various teaching and learning approaches accessible in today's times. [13] Hemalatha et al. conducted a cross-sectional study and found that the majority of the study population favored chalk and board as a technique of teaching and learning physiology, followed by a combination of methods[14] Another study conducted by Khane et al. to analyze the teaching and learning methods in physiology at D.Y Patil Medical College in Kolhapur, India, found that blackboards were the most favored teaching device, followed by overhead projectors and PowerPoint presentations. [16] The main advantages of using a blackboard teaching are that power outages do not disrupt the lecture, pupils are encouraged to follow the teacher's pace, and the presentation incorporates natural pauses and breaks. According to the present study, the blackboard technique of teaching is still the preferred mode of instruction. |
