Zusammenfassung:— Praseodymium hafnate (Pr 2 Hf 2 O 7 ) powder with the pyrochlore structure has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and chemical analysis. Its molar heat capacity has been determined in the temperature range 315–1345 K and its lattice parameter has been measured as a function of temperature in the range 298–1273 K.
