Zusammenfassung:A method is proposed for reducing the noise of an electrode sensor designed to measure the intensity of an ultra-low-frequency electric field in seawater. It is shown that the motion noise caused by towing in a sensor with sectioned rotating electrodes can be reduced by two orders of magnitude, which, in comparison with a sensor with fixed electrodes, makes it possible to increase the sensitivity up to the value determined by its thermal noise.
