Zusammenfassung: | [...]the saphenous vein graft anastomosed to the left circumflex artery was suspected to be occluded by computed tomographic coronary angiography performed at 409 days after surgery, a feature that was confirmed by coronary artery angiography. Physicians may have to follow up serum IgG4 levels, in addition to radiographic findings, for a prolonged period of time after coronary artery intervention, although the clinical significance of the recovery of serum IgG4 after cardiac surgery remains to be determined. Given that the involvement of vascular tissue may occur in arterial as well as in venous tissue, and that formation of a new coronary artery aneurysm after stent implantation has been reported in autoimmune-associated vasculitis, optimal therapeutic strategies for the treatment IgG4-related coronary artery disease warrant further investigation. |
