PiBot – A programmable assistant

One of humanity’s most significant weaknesses is blindness, certainly in this day and age where information is increasingly exchanged through text messages (both electronic and paper-based) rather than speech. In this work, we have proposed support those who are blind or visually impaired. This voice controlled personal assistant implements object detection, text-to-speech, image-to-speech functions using raspberry pi along with other hardware and software specifications.
