Zusammenfassung:This paper presents the project Hydrogen Metallurgy of the Future with preliminary assessment of the technical and economic feasibility, as well as competitiveness of steel production from iron oxides using hydrogen/methane gas as a reducing agent in the design of metallurgical enterprises. General principles for constructing technological schemes using this technology, scaling options, preliminary assessment of using the described technology in the metallurgical industry are presented.
