Zusammenfassung:Now a day, wastewater treatment is the new area of application focused to recycle the wastewater. Decanter plays a major role to recycle needs of water for avoiding pollutions. Hence gearboxes used for decanter application shall have adequate life of operation without any premature failure. The life of the gearbox is majorly governed by the bearings that provide dynamic supports to the gears during the transmission of power. The bearing life under the given load conditions for its size will be estimated based on its dynamic capacity. The predicted fatigue life of bearings also depends on operating factors like temperature, lubrication, speed, bearing alignment, etc. Manufacturers of good quality bearings developed ways to quantify defect-free operations based on a dynamic rating of bearings with increased reliability. Today Python is an intelligent programming language becoming popular in machine learning, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and product design. Python code provides an object-oriented approach and helps to write transparent, logical code for small as well as large-scale complicated problems. This paper presents the methodology for estimation of life of taper roller bearing used in decanter gearbox using python language. The results were validated using the analytical method.
