Zusammenfassung: | The development of biosensors and contrast imaging agents is urgently required to detect and diagnose diseases. Liposomes have been used in various fields as biosensors and imaging agents owing to their biocompatibility, ability to modify the liposomal surface, and encapsulation efficacy for various biologically active agents. In this review, we summarize the current developments and applications of liposome-based biosensors and diagnostic agents, including computed tomography, ultrasound imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, and positron emission tomography. We also discuss future perspectives and challenges associated with the development of liposomal biosensors and imaging agents. |
