Zusammenfassung:[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of superior and inferior subjective teeth alignment on muscle strength during isokinetic elbow extension and flexion. [Participants and Methods] The participants were 20 healthy university students. The participants were asked questions about teeth alignment, and they were divided into superior and inferior groups. Two tasks (biting and not biting) were performed, and the peak torque of isokinetic elbow flexion and extension was measured. The difference between the groups and the tasks were examined. [Results] A main effect was observed between the groups at 60 deg/sec angular velocity. [Conclusion] It was clarified that superior or inferior subjective teeth alignment affects the muscle strength.
