Zusammenfassung: | Mechanochemical hydrogenation of acetylene on fragments of Ni-based alloys was investigated using planetary ball milling. Intermetallic compounds (IMCs) and solid solutions were employed as alloys. Among the alloys, NiAl and NiGa IMCs as well as Ni0.5Fe0.5 solid solution retained their crystal structures after the pulverization. The pulverization exposed fresh surfaces on which ethylene is adsorbed weakly compared to the monometallic Ni surface. |
