Zusammenfassung:Introduction: Induction of labour (IOL) among women with one previous scar is one of important step for a success vaginal birth after caesarean section and this procedure carry increase risk to mother and baby. Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety between transcervical balloon catheter and prostaglandin E2 as IOL agent among women with one previous caesarean section at term. Methods: This is a randomised controlled study that was conducted at Obstetrics & Gynecology Department, Hospital Sultan Ismail, Johor Bahru on 129 pregnant women who admitted for induction of labor.
