Zusammenfassung: | The results of environmental studies of the effect of combined and separate combustion of refinery gases and fuel oil in technological tube furnaces on the composition of harmful emissions released into the atmosphere with fuel combustion products are presented. With separate combustion of liquid fuel in tent and box-type furnaces, the flue gases contain significant concentrations of nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide, and with co-combustion of fuel oil and refinery gases, the content of harmful substances in the combustion products is determined by the ratio of the components of gas-oil fuel. In addition, with separate combustion of refinery gases in furnaces, the concentrations of nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide are minimal, which makes it possible to recommend at refineries the predominant use of the combustion mode of only gaseous fuel, which ensures a decrease in emissions of all oxides and an increase in combustion efficiency. A novel burner design for combustion of gas-oil fuel with reduced emissions of nitrogen oxides has been developed. |
