Zusammenfassung: | Methodological aspects of remote sensing of layered media using Rayleigh surface waves are considered. Estimates of the error in measuring the shear wave velocities and Poisson ratios in the layers and depths of the boundaries of the layered structure are obtained in general form. It is shown that obtaining an estimate for the Poisson ratio in layers becomes possible only with use of the frequency dependence of the ellipticity parameter of the surface wave. Under real experimental conditions, the error of this estimate is sufficient to obtain information on the structure of bonds in a granular medium and the presence of fluid saturation of pores. The peculiarities caused by the use of vibration sources in coherent seismic acoustics are noted, and recommendations for organizing field studies are given. |
