Zusammenfassung: | This article presents a dual‐band dual‐polarized transmitarray (TA) with independent control of polarization at each band. Five‐layer cross dipoles and rectangular patches are utilized to control the transmission characteristics at Ku (13.5 GHz) and K (22 GHz) bands, respectively. Cross loops are used to improve the independence between two bands and transmission response. The phases can be controlled independently at both bands because of the band independence of the element. The vertical polarization and horizontal polarization phases at each band can also be controlled independently because of the polarization independence of the element. A TA with the specific beam direction for each polarization at each band is designed to verify the characteristics of the element. The TA antenna is fabricated and measured. The simulated results are consistent with the experimental results. |
