In higher education we saw this particularly in the rapid conversion to what many called "emergency remote teaching," a limited form of online learning, and, of course, remote work for everyone else. The residential living and learning experience at many colleges and universities would be a good example of an HI program. In higher education, online learning would be a good example of an H2 innovation, especially for those schools that adopted an online strategy 15-20 years ago. Massive Open Online Courses, micro-badging, alternate credentialing, and competency-based education are examples of attempts to reinvent higher education from an H3 perspective.
