Zusammenfassung:This study aimed to examine the feasibility of two-story life-cycle carbon minus (LCCM) rental apartments. To assess feasibility, we analyzed the ability of LCCMs for improving heat insulation, improving photovoltaic power generation system performance, using biomass in lumber and oriented strand board manufacturing, and improving the air conditioner efficiency. Our results identified cases where the LCCM can be achieved by combining all of these measures. Further, we conducted a case study on housing life and the amount of power generated for future dissemination, clarifying the issues related to achievability.
