Zusammenfassung:Since October, we have cut our global GDP growth forecast for 2022 from 4.7% to 4.2% largely due to the emergence of the Omicron variant. Although some of the initial worst fears about Omicron have proved unfounded, the unexpectedly large surge in global Covid‐19 cases is causing more cautious behaviour by individuals and greater disruption to businesses than at first envisaged.
